Valentine’s Day Makeup.
Dear professional makeup artists of all levels,
Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. I’m here to give you romantic & achievable looks that you can create for yourself and to impress your special someone. My rules for getting the best looks are keeping things simple, and opting in for soft pinks that melt into deep reds.
When it comes to your complexion, stick to a foundation with a hydrating formula. I recommend Inglot’s AMC Foundation; it is perfectly dewy in all the right places. Inglot’s foundation, not only creates a glowing canvas, it is infused with truffle oil. Your skin will love the way it feels!
For your eyes, opt for more soft red or rose gold tones that will create a soft-focus on your lids making your eyes appear larger and dreamy. Not only will you fall in love with this look, but everyone that sees you will fall in love too.
Do not forget about the most important makeup statement – your lips! Pucker up and accentuate those lips. Of course, choosing red is a no-brainer, but why stop at one red? Try mixing reds and pinks together and see what color combinations happen. I highly recommend Inglot’s Lip Pencil in 20, a universal red for all skin tones and undertones, and Inglot’s Rouge Lipstick 176, a bubbly berry pink. By doing this, you have just created your own original lip color that is soft and sexy. Don’t forget to top your lips off with a high gloss shine. BOOM! Your lips are plumped and ready to be kissed all night long.
